Favorite Sites: Nrich Out of the University of Cambridge. Problem solving challenges across the grades. BBC Bitesize Interactive lessons and revision. And for younger students Bitesize k-2 The Math Forum Everything you need for you math teaching can be found here. Lesson Plans: Lesson Plans from Educator's Reference Straighforward list of math lessons organized by mathematical topic. Teacher Lesson Exchange The Math Forum has organized a collection of lessons offered by math teachers. It is well organized by math topic and grade level. Lesson Plans from the NCTM Searchable database of lessons by grade level and math topic. Readings on Math Learning and Teaching: Adding it Up The full text of this book is available at the bottom of this website. It provides a good grounding in the research on mathematics learning and teaching. Articles from Marilyn Burns Marilyn Burns shares her insights into mathematics teaching. Graph and Dot Sheet Generators: Incompetech Graph and Dot Paper An amazing variety of graph and dot papers available here. Graph Paper Generator Very basic graph paper generator. Print Free Graph Paper Generates hexagonal and isometric paper as well. Children's Books on Math: Children's Picture and Story Books on Mathematics Long list of books to share with kids. Libraries of Virtual Manipulatives: National Library of Virtual Manipulatives Hosted by Utah State University. Offers the greatest number of virtual manipulatives. It also is the best site for manipulatives for supporting math learners of all ages. NCTM Illuminations Manipulatives are offered in conjuction with well considered lesson plans. Shodor Interactives Offers an amazing variety of virtual manipulatives. Some of the more sophisticated manipulatives can be found here.
